Here is a sample schedule for Tonight’s rehearsal (Nov. 29th) for choir and drama: 

7PM – 8PM – Rehearse with the Magi on all of there scenes and song (Karen)

7PM - 8PM — Choir will rehearse STAR and other songs for musical (Daniel)

8PM – 8:45PM Rehearse with the entire cast on all Choir scenes

8:45PM – 10PM – rehearse with all actors (Wise men, Bathsheba, Gideon, Hannah, Mary and Joseph) on entire play!

A new [cref 45 photos page] has been added.  You can check it out by clicking on the Photos tab at the top of the page.  On that page you will find galleries of photos taken as we prepare for Star.  More will be added over time, so keep checking back.

I would like to welcome the entourage to the star production! 

If you are in the choir and have chosen to be apart of the choreography during some of the musical numbers, you are part of the entourage.  You have all been assigned to one of the Magi or to Gideon and Hannah’s group.  The entourage has added so much excitment to the play already.  At Each rehearsal, Karen creatively builds on the previous one, so please let me encourage you do your best to attend all of the upcoming rehearsals so that we can use our time efficiently.     It is exciting to watch everything unfold and take shape.

Nov. 15th — Choir rehearsal - Karen will be working on the Processional at 8 pm.  We have completed the blocking for Leavin’ It All and Star Reprise.  If you have any questions about your part, please see me and I will be happy to fill you in.
Nov. 18th — Sunday’s rehearsal - The choir will be working from 2:00 to 3:30 and we will be covering scenes 5-9.  From 3:30 to 4:30 we will be working on scenes 4A & 4B with the scribes, Herod, Gideon, Hassan, Rashid, and Yussef.

We had to make some changes to the rehearsal schedule due to some conflicts.

• Scenes 5-9 will now be rehearsed on October 21st instead of October 28th.
• Scenes 4A and 4B will now be rehearsed on October 28th instead of October 21st.

The schedule page has been updated to reflect these changes.  Please contact me if you have any questions.

Dear Friends,

I hope that you are as excited as I am about working on the wonderful music and comedy in STAR!  I see this as a wonderful opportunity for all of us to use our talents in a positive way that will bless the audiences that join us this Christmas.  The show is fun and very funny and I guarantee that rehearsals will be a blast.  I’m looking forward to new and growing friendships among our team.
